7 days away

Hi all!
Well we've been away 7 days now, time goes so quickly on holidays. Our recently-wed friends, Frosty & Alison, arrived last Saturday night just in time for the FA Cup kick-off, stayed at our hotel to watch the game with the bar staff as we were all pretty tired and it was too late to get a good seat at the Islander Bar.
Weather has been hot, 30-34 during the day. Had a couple of big nights, in fact last night was a bit of a frenzy as it was Ali & Frosty's last night with us as they fly out to Phuket today and then meet up with us in 7 days in Bangkok, now that night is going to be ugly as they & Mandy fly home the next day & Ian Hamilton & I head of to Seim Reap in Cambodia.
We took Ali & Frosty sailing for the day on Wednesday as their wedding present, we had a 24' yacht that we hired and headed over to Koh Phangan, the full moon party was the previous night over there, didn't go to the party beach but a little one just around the corner, amazing beach with a couple of small resorts and a fantastic wooden walkway around the rocks to a great restaurant sitting on a huge rock, where we had lunch. Photo attached and if you click ad enlarge it you can see Mandy on the right hand side at the table.
Headed back to Samui, got becalmed, dilirium set in just bobbing on the ocean with the sun pelting down on us, some bloody funny things came out, and eventually had to start the motor, then got drenched in a tropical downpour. Got back to the hotel and it was absolutely bucketing!!!!
Frosty & I headed into town to watch the second half of the State-of-Origin and back for dinner on the beach.
Mandy & I got up to watch the Man U/ Chelsea game at 1.30am, great result for a great match, then back to sleep.
That's about it for the moment, hope you are all well and safe.
Take care and I'll write some more when the opportunity arises.

One more sleep

Well here we are and only 1 sleep until we fly to Bangkok then onto Koh Samui, just in time to get the second happy hour at the bar before bed, we started counting down from around 165 sleeps and now we are nearly there.
Mandy in particular is going quite feral scratching the front door down to get to the plane, her last 6 months have been absolutey chaotic with work as mine has been with the travelling Motor Show.
But all is now good.
Roderick has decided not to come to Cambodia so it's Ian Hamilton and myself only now, a real disappointment however Roderick & I have got a 12 month plan to get back to Siem Reap and see Angkor again.
All we have to do now is pack, my job as usual, Mandy has a hectic day with shareholder meetings and dinners so no doubt she'll be in a fine state to fly tomorrow, let alone sleep tonight.
More when we get there.
Love to all.
